Punctuations: The Unsung Heroes of Communication

Punctuations are often thought of as an addition to grammar and most of us care less to include it in our writing, it is but translated in the pauses we follow as we speak, We don’t offer much meaning without a break, voice inflection, or in our rate of speaking. These are factors that help us express our thoughts clearly and clarify meaning, such is the same in writing, where we use a set of symbols known as punctuation marks. The usage of these helps readers interpret the text and the most common ones include the period, comma, and question mark.
