As a leader, certain steps can be taken to ensure teamwork through collaboration. They include:

Clarity of Roles: Each member plays a part in the success and improvement of the organization, so it is necessary to brief them clearly about their roles and responsibilities. It shouldn’t be a title bestowed on them and left at that but jotting down their work by giving them an overview of the expected outcome will be effective.

Dependency within the team: There should be an open approach to the dependency roles within team members to nurture the completion of assigned tasks or reports within the deadline so that the other group can pick up and complete it as planned.

Working Regulations: There needs to be a setup for stressing on the working regulations too as they highlight the expectations within teams and can be carried over with ease by new members to the team as well.
