- Types of datasets, JCL or helpjobs using MQ utilities. Handling queue creation, channel creation requests.

- Order, Receive and build SMP/E base to be used to support MQ software Install MQ System software/upgrade existing versions of MQ systems on z/OS (Including early code), QSG, clustering
- MQ system configuration, security, CICS, IMS connections
- Apply maintenance refreshes and APAR/PTF fixes to all MQ software’s supported
- Provide technical direction for new MQ technology & software upgrades
- Build new MQ subsystem environments, system datasets
- Provide technical recommendations related to MQ software
- Involve in the initial planning meetings for Disaster Recovery /Backup/ recovery/
Makedef - Prepare all the DR procedure documents for MQ Systems
