The Personality Series III

There is a concept called the Johari window. It talks about getting to know yourself in a different way. All of us know one part of ourselves, one version of ourselves based on our understanding of self. There is another view that comes from people around us. The way they perceive us. This itself will bring lots of surprise to us. Then on the other side, there is a personality inside us of which no one is aware. Taking Myers Briggs Or MBTI will give surprise people as it is designed in a way to reveal the most unknown details about yourself. One good thing about this test is that this is intended to encourage uniqueness in people.

Once we know about these differences we will not be concerned or intrigued about the way people act when they act differently from us. As we know that that is because of their personality type. When we encounter a person with friendliness or when we see a person with not many social abilities we won’t be thinking good alone of the first and bad the second because we have understood that people operate differently based on their personality types. Thus knowing, understanding and accepting the differences in our personalities is the key to having balance in our relationship in our workspace.
